From 2001 through to 2005 Transfer Press worked with community and cultural groups who shared our values and beliefs. Our mission to provide quality design solutions for under-resourced sectors of the community served us well.

As times change so to do the pathways we set for ourselves. From 2006 Transfer Press will be shifting focus and cease to be a commercial design studio.

Founder Russell Kerr has taken up the position of Honours Coordinator at RMIT’s Design Consultancy, The Works. The position allows Russell to work with some of Australias emerging young designers and encourage socially responsible practice.

Transfer Press will continue, becoming a platform for Russell’s political expression through the meduim of writing, poster design and silk screen-printing. This site now functions as a vehicle to showcase this work.
